well, oddly enough, i am a persian muslim..LOL! so, yes, many people from iran are muslims, but actually there are also some jewish persians as well as otehr religions too..:)

In the Middle Ages it was said that they were Muslims, and a reason why the Christians wanted to get Jerusalem out of their hands, thus the crusades.
