There is a fine line between being stubborn and being stupid - Bush is on the stupid side of that line.

You'd rather have him flip-flop and waffle like John Kerry?
I do agree, however, that Bush doesn't take advice from outside sources. He is stubborn and even republicans don't like him for it... he is soft on immigration. Those policies helped the democrats in 2006 because republicans were not enthusiastic about their political party which failed to address many conservative issues while they were the majority party.
Both democrats & republican groups often fail to realize how little a party can do without a majority of at least 60 senators.
The media, however, led on the democrats to believe they could do something by getting the House & Senate this past election. How many of those plans have passed regarding the first "100 hours"? Why don't we hear anything on that? A biased media, perhaps?
The media should have simply told it like it is: Bush can veto anything the democrats can do, and this veto will be difficult if not impossible t override.
I'm not supporting Bush here, but that's the way the system is. Why give people false hope?

He can be as stubborn as he wishes. Unfortunately, people who can impeach or remove him are not realizing it. If they had, they would have sent to go home and be as stubborn as a dead donkey.

You say "stubborn", I say strong and not afraid to make tough decisions. You libs obviously don't have the stomach for what needs to be done.
