I have the HP Pavilion a1520n and I can't find the partioned drive on the computer.is there some way that I can find that partion?

it will show up as D drive under the my computer folder beside the C: drive . if it isn't their, then it doesn't have a partionioned drive. most every new comeputer will have the complete OS and installed software on the partion.

But if still u want to look through that partition u should be looking for some disk managmer software.
I use Disk Director (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/)

Not sure I understand the question, so first go to control pane-administrative tools-computer management-disk management, and see if it is listed. If it isn't listed, then chances are it didn't partition. I'd need more info to give you a better answer.

I also recommend you to use Disk Director. It will find and relocate your partition in way you want without losing any data.
