so i just got my madonna pierced *it's a monroe, but on the opposite side - where the singer's beauty mark is located*

OBVIOUSLY i'm not supposed to take it out and change the jewelry.

however, i want to and i'm going to, but i am having trouble getting the piercing unscrewed. he got it on there tight!

any tips? i tried wearing gloves for grip, but it became kind of painful to stretch my lip out that far.

i would go back up there and ask him to do it, but he might not because it was just done.

any tips *other than not messing with it, because i know that i shouldn't* would be appreciated!

(he used an extra long bar, more than i needed to deal with swelling, but the problem is it's wearing on my gums! i seriously need to get it out. he didn't have any shorter ones. i just know that when i changed my other percings from hoops to barbells they healed so much better and hurt less, and i am hoping that by using a shorter bar that it'll stop rubbing my gums)

thanks!

hey, screw off. if you have nothing helpful to say, DON'T BOTHER ANSWERING. i said that i KNOW i'm not supposed to take it out but that it HURTS how it is. you're an idiot.

Seriously, don't do it yourself. Go talk to him, explain how it's chafing against your gum, show him the other piece of jewelry you want put in instead, and let him do it. If he absolutely refuses, ask how long you have to wait. If you're not happy with his answer, got to a different place and ask them.

If you do it yourself, you probably won't be able to get the new piece in, so the hole will just heal shut and you'll have wasted your money. (This is aside from the obvious issue of possible infection that you already know about.)

He wants SATISFIED customers, so he'll work with you.

All I use when my tongue bar gets stuck is a pair a needle nose pliers and grab the ball with the pliers and twist counter clock wise and it should come loose sometimes the treads get bound up and makes the ball hard to get off. You can get bars at most gas stations and handy markts. for cheap,

Go to a professional and have them take it out for you. It'll be about $5 and it'll save you a lot of time and headaches.

God, how dumb are you? If you aren't supposed to take it out, DON'T!!!

Also, what the heck is the Madonna piercing? I take it its like the lip/cheekish area?

Well, just don't do what they told you not to, 'cause that's just stupid as heck.

owch. i guess, wait a week and then go to where you got it done and ask about how you get them undone. or say your friend's is stuck and ask him to show you how to get it undone with another ring. or maybe it is swollen and you need to wait a little bit.
