Smart questing is the key to leveling fast. Completing all available quests for a certain area in a zone, then moving to the next area, and only going to town to turn in quests and vendoring items is the key.
I only did 3 instances on my 1-60 grind. 60-70 I did quite a few more, but only for the reason that our guild was running them all together and it was very fast and efficient.
So stick to smart questing. Utilize resources like http://www.wowhead.com http://wow.allakhazam.com http://www.thottbot.com to help you plan your quests.
Once you hit the outlands, Quests are the ONLY way to go. Killing a mob will only get you about 500-600exp, but completing a quest will get you between 10,000-19,000 exp.

The fastest way to power level up and make cash is to take as many quests as possible. This is especially true for characters under level 20. If you want to get your character level up in a hurry, then here is a summary of some basic principles.
* Take as many quests as possible and at the same time
* Try not to do quests one at a time
* When entering a new area, grab all the quests from NPC's first
* A good group of 2 or 3 (such as tank + healer) can be more effective than soloing
* Groups work well when a quest calls for "kill X amount of something"
* Groups are tools. Use when good, dump when bad
* Play a Multi-Zone game (switch between zones with quests at or below your level)
* When you hit level 10 or so, its time to run to the nearest "other" starting area and do the quests there
* Doing a load of quests 3-5 levels beneath you really racks up EXP fast
* Green quests are quick and easy XP and loot
* Level grind 2-3 levels on yellow quests, turn them green, then power through the quests solo
* If you are getting killed more than once doing a single quest, you are wasting time
* Remember that running an instance every now and then is necessary to improve your gear
* Dump quests that are gray
* Dump quests that require a lot of running around
* Don't dump class quests, but do them when the doing is easier
* Kill dozens of green monsters for easy and multiple XP gains
* Have fun! Consider taking a break from power leveling to explore all the aspects of the game.

Quests are the best way to level in WoW. You should try to stack your quests, gathering quests that either have similar goals (Kill X number of Monster Z, get Y number of items that drop from Monster Z) or occur similar areas (Kill Monster D, kill Monster E that apper in the same area.)
To make money, the auction house is the way to go. You can do it the normal way, such as killing monster for loot and selling it on the auction house (Baby Dragon Welps are a good option there.) Or you can play like a stockbroker and only go through the auction house, buy goods that people under-price and sell them back to the auction house for more money. I had a friend of a friend who made 10,000 gold in about a month that way.
As for sites, just put in World of Warcraft into google. The first dozen sites or so should be large respectable sites with useful forums.

Leveling right now isnt as puzzling as some make it seem. I agree that what the worlds first 80 did (70-80 in 27 hours) ought to deserve some appreciate, yet i bump into that specializing in leveling and under no circumstances the great thing about the game fairly takes away the thrilling. I say aspect on the %. that you get excitement from and take time to seem at and appreciate the game that snowstorm took so long to make. in any case, to respond to your question, both procedures to point right now(in protecting with blizzards eula) are to apply each xp multiplier than you are able to and to have a strong era of time on your palms. This buddy of yours maximum in all probability had rested xp or probable recruit a buddy, and replaced into devoting many hours to taking area in the game and leveling. And with assistance from leveling I advise questing, no longer operating circumstances or grinding mobs. in case you want to point speedier the thanks to do it really is in person-friendly words to plug away quest after quest. wish this helped.
