I've been trying so hard to pass the praxis 1 test. I am an student that has made honor roll in college and I've studied and prepared to take this test and I cant get these unreasonable high scores that the state of VA requires one to have and by the way has one of the lowest paying salaries in the US. I love children and spending the rest of my life teaching them is so fulfilling. I 'v spent so much money, cried, prayed, spent hrs of time in tutoring. Im at my the end here, wondering is it possible and how am I ever going to support my kid. I thought if you dont give up in life you would be sucessful and how can a God just stand back and watch his child hurt and struggle and do nonething. Is there anyone out there who can relate?

Perhaps God is helping you by making this difficult. Remember, you have other options. Explore your options with people you trust, perhaps a minister, priest, or counselor. God works in mysterious ways at times, but if you believe in God, and accept his course in life, I believe you will be happy. Don't fret, but try your best and look at all options. God bless you!

Do you think God just stands back and watches people kill each other in wars because He finds it amusing?? What do you expect God to do for you? And why you and not someone else, who undoubtedly has it much harder than you do?

God doesn't control what happens to people on earth. Man is given a free will and does what he thinks best (or what he wants, whether good or bad). Your strength has to come from within.

As for your comment that if you don't give up in life, you would be successful...there is no guarantee that is true. You can try your hardest, and you will be successful at something...maybe not exactly what you want. That's life.

All you can do is persevere. Your anxiety no doubt affects how you do on the test. Have you tried a course in test taking? Sometimes it's not that you don't have the knowledge, it's that you aren't able to accurately answer exactly what they're asking. I wish you luck.

Maybe God wants you to consider another path, and since you are so intent on doing your own thing, all He can do is sit back and wait. Put out a fleece, tell God that you will do the first thing that comes along, and be very serious about it. The direction may just surprise you.

We have the ability to think with our mind, and our hearts. You have worked hard at following through with your goals, but you must look inside to see if there is an even balance of thinking between your heart and your mind. I don't have the answer, but sometimes we don't recieve the answers we are searching for until after we start to achieve what is truely meaningful, contentment with happiness.
