Unless it is a very small, single file program, you can't just copy it. It won't run correctly. It has to be installed from a special install file.

Getting a program to work just by coping it from one computer to another will not work because most programs install files in multiple directories.

There are some programs designed to be installed on a network server that can then be installed to other network clients.

Most programs need to be installed to work. Only if you have access to a complete copy of the progam"s original CD, will you be able to copy it over the network to your machine and then install it successfully. The problem is there are a lot of settings that are written to the systems registry when it is installed. Just coping the folder to your machine will not work.

I even have continuously used a software referred to as "Laplink" and cabled between desktops to get the only right consequences. "Laplink" is a small software and person-friendly to apply and you do to no longer pass searching for that invisible folder. See in case you will locate "Laplink". stable luck..
