I recently cleared my hard drive with my XP disc and re installed my drivers. I can't get my network adapter to download from my drivers disc. I can't get an internet connection without my ethernet controller driver. I'm kind of stuck, any ideas?

I have internet access from another computer but most drivers can not be saved to a disc only to the computer itself.

Here is a possible.

Do you have a ' Device Drivers Disk (s) ' ? Possibly came with your computer, This may be ' Logo-ed ' for your motherboard. If so, Give it a try, Ethernet controller driver (s) should be a part of this / these disk (s).

If all else fails, using another computer and download the drivers to a 1.44 (A drive) floppy. then install in your computer.and 'Save' that floppy for future needs.

Have you tried doing a manual install of the driver? Add new hardware and search for the driver on the backup cd.

Errrmmm,,, I wonder how you managed to post this question, then?

You clearly have online access... so visit the manufacturer's site and download drivers to disc or a flash drive.
