...BUT, I have absolutely no support from my family. I do acting and singing classes with my school, but I can't afford a casting agent or any extra acting lessons. Is there any other ways I could find out about auditions (big or small)? This is my only true passion and the only thing I've wanted to do since being involved in a musical put on by my school when I was in year 7.

If you are still in high school, realize that you can take theatre classes at the community college. Hopefully, you will be eligible for financial aid, since your parents will not support your dream. If you are eligible for financial aid, you can take acting courses at any college--which will make it much easier to actually get into acting.

You can also keep watching the newspapers--often they advertise parts--even as extras (that would at least get your foot in the door). Beware of scams, though.

I wish you the best of luck :)

Sometimes (depending on the size of community you live in) local theatres will hold open auditions for community members. Try finding some open auditions and try out for some. If you are a good actress there may be some casting agents who would like you to be their client and may offer discounts for their agency.

Maybe this will help you!

Casting Directors do not get paid by the actor.

Talent Agents are entitled to a 10% commission on jobs booked by the actor.

Yeah, ask your teachers about it. Find an Agent that will take some money after you get your pay

Find out if you have a community theater, that's what I did (but I have support from my dad) you can volenteer there to get some experience.
