I have been working at this place for a continuous 9 years, and the shop is about to close.

How will I get affected if I work a part time while receiving unemployment?

Many states have the formulas on their websites. It's usually some percentage of what you made in some recent period of time, and generally continues for 6 months if you're eligible.

Working part time while receiving unemployment would almost always reduce your payments. That might be detailed on the state website also.

regardless of how long you work in a place you will only receive 6 months worth of unemployment. it happens to be the law. there are no extensions.
