I know its sound trite and pious but really... my bible (if it was a person it would be my hubby). The bible would help me keep my sanity. Its full of familar stories and it would help me focus on God and pray. Because if you are truly alone on a desert island than you'd have to have more than just yourself. Now if it was a dessert island like its spelled in the question it would be a chocolate eclair! LOL

hmmmmmmmm. I can't leave without my daughter!! She has to be with me, if i die in a desserted island, my daughter will die with me. I know you are a talking about a thing, but I am talking about my daughter. There is nothing else I would rather have, other than water, but my daughter.

I could not live on dessert alone, I would need better sources of food for sustenance. Perhaps a couple of crates of Spam - until I was rescued.
