It happened to me with my first pregnancy. I had a daughter even though everyone and I mean everyone said I was having a boy because of the way I was carrying the baby, the things I was going through during the pregnancy. I was sooooo convinced she was a girl that I only had a girl's name picked out. If they had laid a boy on my stomach in the delivery room I would have been lost with a name...poor little one would have a "no-name" for a day or two.

When I was pregnant with my first child, I had several dreams about chasing twin boys around. Later in the prgnancy, the dreams changed to just a single baby with indistinct features as to if it was a boy or girl. I chose not to learn the sex of the baby till birth. It turned out to be a boy.
With my second pregnancy, I just knew it was a girl for some reason. I even started buying girl clothes in my 3rd month. Sure enough through an amnio a month later, I found out it was a girl, (My angel baby Taylor).
With this pregnancy, I feel like its a girl, but I don't feel as sure about it as I did with my last pregnancy, so I am holding off on the shopping for now. Hopefully, I will know within the next month.

I have a friend. When she was pregnant the first time she knew it would be a girl. When she was pregnant the second time she knew it would be twin boys. I had a feeling it was a girl, bit figured I would be wrong. She is a beautiful girl though. I read in one of my many pregnancy books that if you have strong feelings or dreams then to listen to them.

I felt sure my first was a boy- she wasn't.
I knew my second was a boy because God gave me a vision of him as an adult while some women were praying for me- he is who I saw in the vision. (He's 20 now.)
I had my first ultrasound with the third child. They said they thought is was a girl, but not sure. I felt is was girl- and it was.
With the fourth I had several ultrasounds and knew she was a girl.
With the fifth I had knew from ultrasound he was boy.
The sixth wouldn't turn the rigt way on the ultrasound. I felt like it was a boy- it was a girl!

With my oldest, the doctors told me it would be a girl. We painted the baby room pink and bought a bunch of girl clothes. A couple weeks later, i had a dream about having a baby boy and naming him Nicholas. I was convinced from that night on for some reason, returned all the girl clothes and repainted the baby's room. My husband thought i was crazy. Surely enough, on March 12, 1998 i had my Nicholas Brandon.

I knew from the start that my son was a boy. This sounds kind of flaky, but I had a dream in which my (at that time) recently-deceased brother and I were talking (he'd dropped in for one last chat), and as he was leaving I said, "Wait! I'm pregnant!>>>" and he kind of smirked and said "Yeah - and it's a boy!"...so I knew for sure in my heart way before the ultrasound.
I just KNEW from the second she was conceived that, first of all, she was conceived, and second, that my daughter was a girl....Nothing earth-shattering occurred in that pregnancy...she just was!

I thought I was having a boy, I had one dream that it was a boy. When I went to garage sales looking for infant clothes I could only find boy stuff. Then when I went to the walmart the only had blue diaper bags, lol. It was hint after hint that screamed boy. I didnt find out what I was having, I was able to wait til I had him. It was amazing because I so badly wanted him to be a boy.

As soon as I knew I was pregnant, I knew I was carrying a girl, and would always refer to her as a little girl- it wasn't until I got to my 20 week scan where I was going to ask for confirmation of the gender that I thought 'What if I'm having a boy...will I have confused him by talking to and about him as if he was a girl?'
But, my daughter was definitely a girl!

No, but I was dead wrong.......I was CONVINCED I was having a boy. The old wives's said I was, I was all out front, no weight gain anywhere else. Round like a basketball. My pregnancy mirrored my sisters when she had my nephew. All my patients (nursing home) said boy. I had dreams about having a boy........you get the idea........
So I give birth. and the midwife proudly smiles and says "It's a girl!" and I went...."really!?"
But I am thrilled to have my little peanut!!!

No, when I was pregnant with my son I thought he would be a girl. With my daughter I didn't want to assume anything.
