I already have a job that makes me unhappy. Would I take a job that kept me that way, but paid me more?

Yes, I would take the job. I would be unhappy for 5 years and then quit and that would account for a lifetime of miserable work where I am miserable anyway...then I would live off the compounding interest and be happy!

happiness is more important than money- I know that is hard 2 believe, but it's true....have a job that u really want cuz u said your job stinks.....get a better job and a better future...Good Luck...

depends on how long I have to work there. If I can quit once I'm rich OK, but if I'm only rich payday to payday no thanks. There are LOTS of jobs around and if you're that hot a commodity that you're making enough money to get rich there are a ton of places that will hire you, at more money, and heck, you might even like working there.

I have turned down a good paying job once for the same reason, life is too short, I would rather be poorer and happier

If it's a lot of money and good benefits then yes. Happiness can't pay the bills.

Not me! I tried that...had a job that paid alot, but it's really not worth it to be miserable everyday of your life. I'd rather make less and be happy!
