Since its St.Patty's day - Does anyone remember this classic Disney film starring Sean Connery? It was one of my favorites as a little girl. What was your favorite part? I loved the ending with the banshe and the death coach.

I wish they would still play these classic films on the Disney channel.

actually, my sister and i wanted to go back to our parents' home and steal the old beat-up VHS copy of that movie. we really liked that movie growing up. the banshee scared the bejeezus out of us. and we loved singing the song at the end.

oh she is my dear and darlin’ one
her eyes are sparklin’ full of fun
no other, no other
could match the likes of her

oh she is my dear my darlin’ one
my smilin’ and beguilin’ one
i love the ground she walks upon
my darling irish girl

funny thing is...i just realized that WAS sean connery! O_O'

I've been watching this movie since I was really little. It's really funny and I always thought Sean Connery was cute. I thought that if I was ever dying, the coach would come get me. My favorite part would have to be when Darby takes King Brian into the pub and gives him the drinks in front of everyone. Then the lady puts his shot glass up on the shelf.

I do remember the movie, although I haven't ever actually seen it. It came out when I was four years old, but if I recall correctly, it made another appearance when I was a teenager. You might consider e-mailing the Disney channel to ask them to show it; it might not help, but it can't hurt. You might also be able to get a copy of it on Amazon.com; I'm including the link below. They have some used copies for under $10.

Yes! My grandmother got me this movie, and I was actually recently thinking about it! I wanted to watch it, but unfortunately, it is on VHS (I know, I am old), which for some reason doesn't play on my laptop. haha. I love the part where they are all inside and the "little people" are dancing. I also liked the end with the storm and whatnot. Great movie!

I loved it. I found it on DVD and had to buy it. Got to love Sean Connery.

I wish they showed older movies on Disney...I remember while growing up that ABC used to show Disney movies on Saturday or Sunday nights. It was my favorite thing to see the beginning of the castle and Tinkerbell.
