Yes, well the point here is that the human digestive tract is very long. Well this is because the parts of the digestive system, including the small intestine and the large intestine are so convoluted that it will be very long if it is straighten-upped.

mouth to stomach maybe 2 feet
small intestine about 20 feet
large intestine about 5-6 feet

For my brother inlaw - yes, but for most normal adults the combined large and small intestines are about 24 ft long.
