I was wondering if I should get some for my son. He likes to skateboard and I think a few of his friends have some.

It depends on what the kids at school think are in style. If his friends wear them go for it but if not you may ask him about it and see if he would like them.

heelys are defiantly NOT cool for a high school student. don't do it that is so embarrassing for the child no one wears heelys not even skaters not in high school anyway and i know because I'm still in high school

Check with your son's school first - my son is 14 and loves his and will sometimes wear them to school - but I teach 4th grade and my school has banned them for safety reasons.

Over here in Okinawa Japan, they are very popular all kids from elementary and some college people have them!

I am 15 and I would never date a kid who has Heeleys. Everyone I know that has them is pretty geekey! Ask your son if he wants them.

Not really. It seems like it's for middle schoolers and down. But if you think about long enough, I guess it's okay.
