How has Sanjaya lasted this long? I realize he can sing better than me probably but he should have gone home at least 2 weeks ago. What is your point of view on it?

sanjaya is a wierdo.... girls just vote 4 him bc they think he's cute!! HE'S VERY, VERY, VERY UGLY 2 ME!!!!!!!! i HATE him sooo much! i cant believe Sundance & Brandon(or whatever his name is) got kicked off instead of him!! :( that makes me soo MAD!!!!!!!!!!

It's something you just have to come to accept. Once you accept it, then you won't be so made about it and you can move on. He probably has a small fan following, plus he's getting support from www.votefortheworst.com. The poor kid knows where he stands, and knows why he's still on. You can see it in his eyes everyweek at the eliminations. They say the other person's name and in his heart I believe he knows that it should be him. He's such a sweet kid, so humble. And he's young... he hasn't quite figured out who he is, hasn't quite become comfortable enough with his body and body image to show the confidence he needs on stage. He has a great voice for a 17 yr old choir boy.
Yes, people that are better than him are going home instead of him. But you have to admit that eventually they would be going home anyway. The real contest lies between Lakisha, Jordin, Melinda, Blake and Chris S. Truely, they are the only ones with any real music talent. As long as none of them leave before Sanjaya... then we'll know America hasn't completely lost their minds! :-)

Sanjaya is the " William Hung " and " Scott Savol " of season 6, I'm proud of my home state of Washington, but ... com on.enough,enough ... Get REAL America !!

He can sing, but not as good as the others. I think if Brandon hadn't messed up on his song this past week, it would have been Sanjaya that would have left. I think people vote for Sanjaya because of his looks, and popularity.

This website picks one person every year who is terrible and gets a whole bunch of people to vote for the least talented person. they pick the person (this year, sanjaya) and they usually go pretty far. Last year it was Kelli Pickler.
Isn't it terrible?? Brandon had to go home to keep this loser on the show?!!!!!So frustrating. I wish there was some way to stop that website.

It seems like the other users answered the question. I didn't learn of the website they're all mentioning until yesterday. But I can add that I was pissed when Sunjiya remained on the show. So that answers my questions about the heavy set white guy that outlasted many talented singers the season that Bo Bice was on.

He must have a big support system. I don't think he is a bad singer, but very young and needs more experience. They have been some better singers that were voted off that I don't think should have been.

There are probably millions of teenage girls and grown women in love with him and are too blinded by his hair to see the fact that he can't sing.
