I need to know basic infor mation on red belly piranhas. I also need to know what size tank 5 of them need to be in.

I have three in a heated and planted 10 gallon tank, they do fine. I used to have 4 but they got hungry. All I found was his head. When you do get them don't just throw in raw meat, as this contains alot of fat that is hard for them to digest. Fun fish to have though. Mix up their diet and sometimes feed them live fish. They go into a feeding frenzy everytime you feed them, really cool. Good luck!

One thing you might want to research is the legality of owning Piranhas in your state,there are quite a few states that forbid them.
