I consider them both pretty evil. Consider this, Stalin's mass killings were mostly before WW II (100,000 a year), and mostly from his purges and 'collectivization in early 30's with the latest estimate of around 20-30 million dead. His genocide wasn't a full time occupation to his death, unlike Hitler, but that's where the comparison stops. When comparing the two, both were evil, both put people in concentration camps, both committed genocide, both were dictators, both...well you get the picture. The one factor Hitler had over Stalin tho, Hitler was insane. Stalin was just angry and distrustful.
Other things to consider,Stalin killed more people, Hitler started WW II, Hitler killed the Jews and some people in his nation, but he started the war that resulted in many troops dying on both sides. Hitler may be considered the greater of both evils; tho Stalin killed more people it is said, Hitler's action ensured that those loses were as high as possible.
It is my conclusion that Hitler may be the 'evil-er" of them all, but comparing the them is ludicrous, now that i think about it, so just forget about it!

Stalin. He did everything Hitler did exept on a bigger scale. Mussolini was a wimp and hid behind Hitler for protection. The only reason why people say Hitler instead of Stalin when they're talking about something evil is b/c we sided with Stalin during WW2. Hitler tried to make us enter the war on his side but that ended when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. I know that Hirohito and Tojo for Japan was worse than Mussolini. The reason why is that the Japanese killed more people than the Italians. All Mussolini did was invade weak countries and run away from strong ones.
Evil Rankings Poll:
1.) Stalin---Racist, Murderous, and cruel on big scale
2.) Hitler---Same as Stalin but smaller scale
3.) Hirohito & Tojo---Cruel
4.) Mussolini---Wimp

It's still unknown how many were killed during Stalin's reign, but most experts attribute larger numbers than Hitler. Interesting to note that while Stalin hated Jews like Hitler, a vast majority of his killings were politically motivated, while Hitler's were entirely from hate.

Stalin, followed closely by Hitler.
Edit - Stalin was responsible for many times the number of deaths than Hitler was responsible for.

Stalin by far, even disregarding murder of one's own population in which Uncle Joe wins hands down. Nazism & Italian Fascism were quashed in WWII, but Soviet militarism & imperialism, largely begun under Stalin, was the single greatest influence on the world from WWII to the end of the Cold War. Keep in mind the Nazis only controlled Germany for ~12 years; Soviet communism lasted ~70.

It depends on which aspect your looking at. Stalin ordered his soliders into German fire and when they retreated their own officers shot them. Over 5,000 died per day at stalingrad. They had A goal of winning wahtever the cost, They thought using fear would get their soldiers to fight better. Then they decided to inspire them though their "heroes", and through propaganda. Then they won.
Mussolini was a puppet.
Hitler on the other hand had a differant mission. He saw in 50 years time, a world "pure" of genetic deformity. A pure race to rule for a thousand years. So to accomplish that he ordered as many as possible killed in as little a time as possible.
6 million jews were killed. That's not much compared to the total body count of 52,199,262 through the whole entire war.
So really it just a matter of opinion.

Both Hitler and Stalin.
Hitler was a madman who wanted only one race.
Stalin was a paranoid man who killed everyone because he was afraid they were traitors.
Both Were equaly mad. Mussolini was just a guy who thought the Nazis were cool. A facist too.
