That movie is full of lies. Global warming is a joke.

1) 6,000 years ago, the earth was hotter than it is today. 6,000 years is less than a second when compared with the age of the earth.

2) Temperatures dropped in the 1950's and 1990's when CO2 levels were increasing.

3) 140,000 years ago the earth had record CO2 levels and there were no gasoline powered cars.

4) 20,000 years ago, Canada was one big ice cube and half of the U.S. was covered with Ice. The grand canyon was formed by melting ice ages over 20 million years.

5) The temperature of the Earth has only increased by 0.65 of a degree in the last 110 years. There were faster increases in temperatures around 10,000 years ago and there were no gasoline powered cars during that time

7) NASA has said that great temperature changes are normal. Just 10,000 years ago, the earth warmed up extremely in less than 20 years. There were not many people around at that time.
NASA:
"Rapid changes between ice ages and warm periods (called interglacials) are recorded in the Greenland ice sheet. Occurring over ONE OR TWO DECADES, the warming of the Earth at the end of the last ice age "
http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Study/Paleoclimatology_Evidence/Images/gisp2_temperature.gif

8) NASA scientific data has shown most of the changes of temperature are due to changes in the Sun. Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all have global warming right now

9) Also, strong hurricanes are normal. Hundreds of years ago, they used to sink ships off of the coast of Florida.

10) THIS GLACIER DIDN'T EXIST 7,000 YEARS ago. And that was after the Ice Age.
"A few thousand years ago, there were no glaciers here at all"..."Back then we would have been standing in the middle of a forest"

Open your eyes and go searching at what's occurring to this planet till now it rather is merely too late for everybody. what's faulty with attempting to get people to supply up destroying this planet? Al Gore is doing the main superb factor, i'm no longer a Michael Moore fan in any respect, yet Al Gore is stunning!

i think its A Convenient Perspective... sounds good, got him a nobel prize nomination and a hollywood trophy...

however, any intelligent person.. anywhere from Animals Rights screetching Liberals to McCain voting Conservatives... knows he is full of crap..

Conservatives and even liberals, such as PETA even, criticize him for being completely hypocritical and being totally contradicting of himself.

PETA issued a letter to Gore recently, telling him that you can not be a meat-eating environmentalist...

PETA cites many statistics, proving their statement that the meat eating industry is responsible for more greenhouse emmisions then the entire worlds transportation combined..

such as..
gallons of fresh water wasted by the meat industry
pounds of monurer produced by mass-breeded cattle
emissions caused by meat packing industry
etc...

The best way to live up to his movies standards, PETA states, is to go Vegan. Don't expect to see that happening...

next..

The The Tennessee Center for Policy Research reviels Al Gore's energy saving habits, or lack there of...

"Gore’s mansion consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES). The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh—more than 20 times the national average. Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359. Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006. Gore’s extravagant energy use does not stop at his electric bill. Natural gas bills for Gore’s mansion and guest house averaged $1,080 per month last year … In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006."

A good question for Gore: So, if both cities you own houses in offer alternative energy sources, such as solar and wind energy.. why havent you signed contracts with them yet?!

An Inconvenient Truth was a really good movie. You should see it sometime. Gore explains very clearly how global warming is happening now. He also goes over all the myths that non-believers are spouting off (many of which I have seen on this board) and shows how they are just plain wrong.

Bush, McCain, Giuliani, and Brownback all agree with Gore.

Are you saying they're all lying, or ignorant?

Or, perhaps Gore, the scientists, and all these Republicans are all correct, and it's you who's wrong.

Just a thought.

I haven't seen it. I don't plan to see it.

After the PMRC nonsense back in the 80's, the gores have no credibility as far as I am concerned.

That is why I voted buchanan in 2000.
