You can write about what it was like to be in hiding during the Holocaust or what conditions were like in the concentration camps. I've read both books. I actually read Night twice. They're very sad. You could also describe the selection process in Night.

Write this --
I've learned that , as a young girl of 13 years old, Anne Frank , unwittingly, gave a true historic account of what it was like to be Jewish while living under Nazi rule. I've learned to appreciate every-day freedoms more because of the hardships she had to endure. I can only imagine how difficult it had to be living in hidden rooms, and having to be quiet day in and day out.to avoid capture by German soldiers. I also learned how sad she must have been after learning that those she trusted turned on her and her family. Just when things couldn't possibly get any worse, she died of typhus. This was a story of a young girl who never gave up hope, and always had at least 2 friends ......her pen and her diary .
