Is it legally possible to name a child using numerical characters?

I don't have kids and I don't see any in the near future. Just curious. But that would be sort of cool... "807.3 do the dishes!"

I have three children and yes you can legally name them anything you want.

I have met some people with some strange names... I wanted to use a few of them on my kids, did some research and found that nothing was holding me back except for my wife!

123 and 321 were reserved for the first two kids. That was when I found out that even though I wore the pants at my house, I had nothing to do with picking them out!

Let me add that the name 123 would have to be spelled out, but an established signature could actually be 1 2 3

A lot of traditional Japanese boys names actually have numbers in them, like if you were the first born, you would have the number 1 in your name (Hito- or -hito): Hitoshi, Hirohito.

Not only is it legal, but it's common.

no it is not. a legal name must contain letters of the alphabet (in any language) thats why we have social security numbers.
