I don't think anyone here is going to be able to answer you. I (and probably most people here) don't know you, so I have no opinion either way.
What I'd do if I were in your situation would first think of a reason these people might think that about you. If you still come up blank I would talk to the people calling you this and ask them to explain to you, in a rational way, why they feel that way toward you, like what you might have done...etc

People usually get this title if they are known to be back stabbing losers. It's never too late to change for the better though. Forgive others and they will forgive you.

Do you "USE" people for your own personal gain?
If you do then you fit the criteria of your statement.

Your peers are probably correct in their definition for you.
