My resolution was the same one I've made the last 3 years: to get my sh*t together. The last 2 years I had to give up on it due to other stuff, but I'm doing well now. I started community college and applied for reinstatement at the university that I flunked out of 2 years ago. I became a vegetarian again, started working out most days, and successfully gave up drinking. I started going to church, and became a Christian and a born-again virgin. I also started seeing a counselor to help me deal with a traumatic event I went through in the past.
My new tattoo is Chinese for "determination" and that's what I have found: the determination to actually make something of myself, for once!

I haven't made any New Years Resolutions. I figured why make a new years resolution when you can start at any time? Otherwise, it's just like putting something off until New Years when a person could be working on whatever it is already.

I'm on track and actually a teensy bit ahead of my goals! I've lost about 20 pounds, but I have another 40 to go before the end of the year!

Almost 3 full months of nonsmoking in. I have not cheated once. I hope this truely is the end of the smoking. I know i feel a hell of a lot better.

Sometimes its good but sometimes bad. My resolution was to eat breakfast every morning...something other than coffee and a cigarette. But some days I just don't feel like eating until lunchtime....
