I would guess D, because area is dependant on radius, and therefore also dependant on diameter, so it can't be a, b, or c alone.

P(out) = P(in) = 60 psi. Pressure is unchanged. The force on the output piston rod however is increased proportional to the ratio of areas of the pistons. If input cylinder is one square inch, 60 pounds would be exerted on the piston rod to produce 60 psi. This exerts the same pressure, 60 psi, on the output cylinder, however this force is over a larger area. Force on the output rod, F(out) = 60 * 8 = 480 lbs.
