First class passengers were made up of middle class people. They were lawyers or doctors who did not make as much as the first class passengers who usually had family money. The second class passengers' rooms rivaled those of first class on other ships but generally they had less options for dinner but generally they were respected in society.

The second class passengers were of moderate wealth. It's like flying. Second class is like coach.
