i was wondering if there is any chance for me to grow anymore..

i live in detroit, im 15 years old (turning 16 next month)

im currently 5'5

my shoe size is like 9

my mother is 4' 11

my dad is 5'6

but my dads brother is like 6'1.. so i was wondering if there was any other chance for me to grow

im a very active athlete and i do lift weights

is there a chance i'll still grow?? how tall were u all when u were 15??

yeah i heard the same about weight lifting.. but i have to cuz i play football and run track

Yeah you'll probably grow, my friend's dad didn't really hit a growth spurt until college.. Guys usually grow into their twenties..

But considering that your parents are a bit on the short side, there is still a chance you may not grow too much more.

You'll probably be taller than your dad by at least a couple inches but after that ... it depends.

Oh and don't excessively lift weights and do "body-building" - I heard that lifting heavy weights can totally shatter your growth plates and stunt your growth permanently.

Yes you will continue to grow. In fact you have quite a few years. Girls stop growing around 18 years old. Boys keep growing into their twenties.

yea u still sohuld, ur a guy so u should continue to grow. unlike chicks u have more time. im the same age and 5ft (a chick) and im prolly goin to be this short forever, cuz thats around my mom's and sis' height. plus chicks really dont grow much after 15, but guys can.
