Where Vincent Price was a guest star... and he tried to frighten the kids and then he captured and tied them up to totem poles... then in the end, the family was friends with him, after they had found out what he did... isn't that a weird lesson to teach our kids; that that this is o.k. behavior? Just forgive the hostage taker and move on, especially if it is our children, what must they think watching this episode?

Maybe so, but it's an old show and already in the can. You can impart your values to your own kids the way you want to.

It was all a misunderstanding that lead to them being tied up and when it was all figured out the family could see how they had poked around in Price's personal business. I am sure they would have tied him up as well if they found him poking through their back yard.
