Just an FYI, having been through a D&C. It's not very wise to have sex that soon nor to get pregnant. D&C causes your body to take a little while to get back to normal. The surgery itself is trauma to your uterus. Yes, you can be pregnant. It much easier to conceive after the surgery. I had three miscarriages and only the last one resulted in a D&C. I waited the suggested 6 weeks before sex and bam...pregnant the very first attempt. My son is now 3 1/2. Hang in there but if you are not pregnant right now..give your body another 3 weeks or so to heal. Good Luck, I know how mentally draining trying to conceive can be much less to miscarry.

You can't get pregnant when you are on your period. Your uterus is shedding it's lining and releasing it's egg. You should be careful about unprotected sex. Didn't your doctor advise you to wait a few months before you tried again? There's a reason for that. You want your baby to grow in a healthy environment. Take care of you first so that you can take care of your baby later. Good luck.

You can get pregnant the same day you get it if you have sex because you are basically wide open. But since you were on your period, there's good chance you aren't pregnant but take a test just to be sure.

It's not very likely you're pregnant. Your period was probably shorter because of the D&C- everything was cleaned out and you're "starting over" so-to-speak. I am sorry about your miscarriage, and hope God blesses you with a child soon.

it depends on when in your cycle you ovulate. every woman is different.

I am not trying to be rude, but you SERIOUSLY need to get yourself on some oral contraception and until you do, you need to DEFINITELY use a condom, or abstain from sex if at all possible.

repeated abortions are NOT a responsible or practical form of birth control. not to mention they are stressful on your body!
