It's not that the CFL is tougher, it's just a different game. There is a bigger emphasis on passing. The field is longer and wider, and teams only get 3 downs. Ricky isn't the scatback type, and that would be the type of runner that would dominate. He lost a step or two, and he didn't run with authority.

Ricky Williams is not into football anymore. The only reason he is still doing it is because its the only thing he knows how to do that he can make a living at and waste his money on luxury items and marijuana. Until the football owners realize this and continue to shell out money for a guy that is past his prime and only does it for the money, he will continue going through the motions and collecting a paycheck. Now the Dolphins are considering signing him? Get a clue Miami!

Mr. Hat, I heard he led the CFL in rushing despite missing time with a broken arm. His team went to the championship game, although I didnt even pay enough attention to know if they won or not.
You get 3 downs to make 15 yards, there is very little running in the CFL. First down, run for 6, leaves you 2nd and 9. If you dont get 9 yards, you punt. There is no 4th down in Canada.
get a clue, ok? thanks!

1) The game is different.
2) No drug testing probably meant he was high. Pot does effect your thinking process. (Yes, you need to think about where the hole will be, reacting to it means the LB can react to it and meet you there.)
3) Ricky has dropped off a bit.

Because he is finished...In his hear and in his mind.. He does not priortize what he needs to do to compete against the other backs in the NFL. He just doesnt take the game serious anymore....He is done..Stick a fork in him.

I heard or read somewhere that he suffers from ADD, honestly, no joke. I suppose he just didn't really dedicate himself as he may have been easily influenced by the people around him, or he just didn't care at all.

because Ricky Williams has never had his head into football since his "retirement" i doubt to see him in the NFL anytime soon, even though he does have tremendous potential
