To raise one self above who we judge. Also analysing one self is very hard & takes much will. Some time when analyzing someone you end up seeing lots of you in them and then you either dispise them or you love them immediately.

That's Human nature ... they never admit their faults, but they are always ready to admit others faults... with or without any reason...

Another reason could be... people get influenced by someone more perfect than themselves... so they always try to find out more faults in them to feel a satisfaction of How so perfect they are... How they don't have any faults...

People get so busy in finding others faults that they don't even have time to analyse themselves...

or maybe they find so many mistakes in other person that they find their faults nothing when compared to other person... so they find themselves perfect...

because analysing others is just like seeing a person through a
sun glass; [you can wear any coloured glass as you wish and see him the way you want. You can assign a bad/good image to him]
Self-analysis is like seeing yourself in a mirror[you cannot manipulate your real figure;further, reality bites] Subsequently self-
diagnosis is conveniently avoided and colouring others takes place.

people usually don't need to MAKE a self-analysis.
they already have one in their heads.
so when they're analysing others, they tend to compare with themselves and end up feeling happier or really bad sometimes because they already know who they really are.
its not really self analysis that's missing in this world - most people are most critical about themselves.
what's missing is self-correction.

in the end we're actually all hypocrites.

analyse oneself. However self analysis always bring good
results when weakness are overcome/rectified.

bcoz its easier to analyse others. it has always been a human tendency to break oneself from the problem and become an observer or analyzer. however, if u were to observe yourself, you are automatically faced with the issue.. what am i? am i the problem? and how mnay people are willing to accept that point of view - that they are themselves the root cause of a problem and that only by observing our own state of mind and responses we will see the true nature of our problem?

It is humane to love good things. No body wants to touch the dirty things. We all are scared of self or we may say that we all know about our wrong deeds or so, because " Kapdon ke andur har aadmi nanga hai". That's why one doesn't feel it necessary to evaluate self first.

Stages of Cognitive Development. Piaget identified four stages in cognitive development:

Sensorimotor stage (Infancy). In this period (which has 6 stages), intelligence is demonstrated through motor activity without the use of symbols. Knowledge of the world is limited (but developing) because its based on physical interactions / experiences. Children acquire object permanence at about 7 months of age (memory). Physical development (mobility) allows the child to begin developing new intellectual abilities. Some symbollic (language) abilities are developed at the end of this stage.

Pre-operational stage (Toddler and Early Childhood). In this period (which has two substages), intelligence is demonstrated through the use of symbols, language use matures, and memory and imagination are developed, but thinking is done in a nonlogical, nonreversable manner. Egocentric thinking predominates

Concrete operational stage (Elementary and early adolescence). In this stage (characterized by 7 types of conservation: number, length, liquid, mass, weight, area, volume), intelligence is demonstarted through logical and systematic manipulation of symbols related to concrete objects. Operational thinking develops (mental actions that are reversible). Egocentric thought diminishes.

Formal operational stage (Adolescence and adulthood). In this stage, intelligence is demonstrated through the logical use of symbols related to abstract concepts. Early in the period there is a return to egocentric thought. Only 35% of high school graduates in industrialized countries obtain formal operations; many people do not think formally during adulthood.
