Shay Given for sure, Keane yes, Giggs yes, Mccoist maybe, Ian Rush, Paul McGrath, Ray Houghton.
Yeah of course Giggs would of played, England have no quality left sided players other than Joe Cole who is not a natural left footer, Giggs would of made a huge difference to the England team, think of those crosses Shearer would of got onto and not just from Beckham. Keane would of been better than any midfielder England had ever had, the guy is a legend

Some people are stupid!! The REPUBLIC OF IRELAND is NOT part of GB, therefore meaning Given and keane could not play!
Giggs would definately, possibly Rush and Hughes from Wales aswell, McCoist from Scotland and, realistically, none from Northern Ireland.
So I agree, England has the better quality of players, now and over past 20 years, other than left side of midfield.
Have a good day.

My team is Cleveland, but seeing as though we do not have any picks until the 4th round (which is fine with me) I am going to discuss the Raiders pick. I think a fantasy would be for them to draft McFadden and actually have a great backfield instead of a buncha has beens, but looking at their situation they really need a line. They should Draft Long of Michigan if they get the chance and pickup Gallery and the other could of's and show them what a realy young talent can do. They have a QB (Russell) if he isnt the size of Jabba the Hutt, by the time the season starts. And a good TE/Receiver combination. Their defense is phenominal (not the D Line, the secondary). Special teams, even without Chris Carr, will be fine. Like I said, build a line, but the flashy pick would be McFadden.

Very few. Remember the "we just joined the Common Market" game back in '73. One Danish player, the rest was the England team. The Dane scored the only goal and was subbed by an ....... English player. So the answer is none or one subbed after 60 odd minutes.
