Take your car to another garage, and ask for their opinion. It could be a fuel blockage, or an electrical fault. I had a new car with about the same trouble, it turned out that the started motor was at fault. Fitted a new one and all OK.

FIRST GET A NEW GARAGE IF THEY CANT FIX A SIMPLE NO START PROBLEM THAN THEY SHOULD PROB. CHOOSE ANOUTHER PROFFESION.REMEMBER TO CHECK ALL FUSES FIRST (ESP. FUEL PUMP, ENGINE MANAGEMENT, ECP, ECU, PCM, AND ANY OTHERS.) THEN CHECK THE FUEL PUMP RELAY IT SHOULD CLICK WHEN YOU CYCLE THE KEY ON A GOOD WAY TO CHECK IT IS TO SWAP IT WITH ANOUTER RELAY CLOSE BUY THEN TRY TO START THE CAR. IF ALL OF THIS SIMPLY STUFF CHECKS OUT OKAY THEN--- CHECK FUEL PRESSURE FIRST. IF YOU DONT HAVE A GAUGE THEN JUST DISCONNECT A FUEL SUPPLY LINE AT THE ENGINE AND PUT IT IN A JAR TURN ON THE KEY IT SHOULD SQUIRT GAS FOR 2 SEC AND STOP. IF NO FUEL SPRAYS OUT DO THE SAME CHECK ON THE FUEL LINE BEFORE THE FUEL FILTER TO ILIMNATE THE POSSIBILITY OF A CLOGGED FILTER. PUT YOUR HAND ON THE TOP OF THE FUEL PUMP AND SEE IF YOU FEEL IT PULSING WHEN SOMEONE ELSE TURNS THE KEY ON. IF SO YOU EITHER ARE OUT OF GAS OR HAVE A BAD PUMP. IF YOU DONT FEEL ANYTHING THEN THE PUMP IS NOT WORKING THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE A BAD PUMP DISCONNECT THE WIREING TO THE PUMP. USE A TEST LIGHT TO CHECK THE WIRES ONE AT A TIME IF YOU HAVE JUST A PUMP ONE OF THE WIRES SHOULD HAVE POWER FOR THE FIRST 2 SECONDS THE PUMP IS ON. IF SO CHECK THE GROUND. IF YOU HAVE GOOD POWER AND GROUND YOU HAVE A BAD PUMP. IF NO POWER YOU NEED TO GET A WIRING DIAGRAM AND TRACE IT BACK TO THE SOURCE.

SATURNS ARE NETORIOS FOR FUEL PUMPS, IGNITION MODULES, COIL PACKS, AND CRANK SENSORS. I OWNED ONE FOR 4 YEARS GREAT CAR THE BEST I EVER OWNED IF FUEL PRESSURE IS GOOD PULL A PLUG WIRE AND CHECK FOR SPARK. IF NO SPARK PULL THE COIL PACK AND IGNITION MUDULE TAKE THEM TO AUTOZONE THEY WILL TEST FOR FREE. IF THOSE ARE GOOD TRY THE CRANK SENSOR. THE PARTS ARE WAY TO EXPENSIVE TO START REPLACING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PROBLEM. IE. -- INGNITION MUDULE FROM AUTOZONE $200.00 IF ALL ELSE FAILS YOU COULD HACE A BAD ECM....

Find a NEW shop to do your diagnostics. The shop you used obviously doesn't know sh*t about automobiles.
A good reputable service shop can get your problem diagnosed and repaired and get you back on the road in no time.
Being a GM product, take it to a GM dealer who has a reputable service shop on site. You get what you pay for. Talk to a service adviser at this GM dealership with a shop and explain your problem to them. They might be able to give you some idea of the problem before bringing it in and a rough estimate on repair cost(s).
I still prefer genuine GM replacement parts anytime over parts from some place like NAPA or Autozone.
I've learned my lesson over the years.

cranking and turning over means the same thing.turn the key on and let someone listen back to the tank and see if they hear the pump running.if its not, check the pump fuse.also if it starts once and not again, check the gas filter,it could be dirty, also it could be the fuel pump regulator.

What is the car, what year. Could be fuel pump, crank sensor, coil pack. No idea unless you give more info.

Best of Luck!

There are 2 solutions. a million. The old gasoline strains should be blocked. 2. there is an air block in the gasoline equipment, likely on the gasoline clear out. Please attempt to envision the above 2 issues, the most suitable first. The gasoline line should be blocked with a small stone, or some hard airborne dirt and dirt.
