Nobody is going to be next. The defense budget will be tied to withdrawal from Iraq, Bush will veto it, and therefore there will be NO defense budget. This will drive Bush and Cheney crazy and they will both self-destruct on national TV, and will be committed to a loony bin. Then Nancy Pelosi will be the first president, much to Hillary's dismay. Nancy will bring the troops home, re-commit to the Geneva Conventions and Nuerenburg agreements that we do NOT attack unless we're being attacked.
Even the rich here who benefitted from Bush's tax breaks will see that a trillion dollars were wasted, as well as 3000 lives here and 600,000 in Iraq, and will vow never to waste that kind of change again!
Maybe I'm just naive...

I think yours in not a short question, it is a long treatise. and the replies prove it. first thing -- not only we should limit the damage in Iraq --but we should limit also both the questions length and specially the lengthy answers. this being on record -- there is of course some justification on both side of the equation re. Iraq war. not everything --not all decisions were taken with a blind eye -- but honestly after 4 yrs. on the same spot -- the administration seems to be turning a blind eye on the status quo. now what can we do to get out -- number one issue -- defend the soldiers on duty -- that is our first priority, number two -- the government both democrat and republican and all others on the side have to unite rather than divide on the issue. the decision making rests with the President but the push must come from the "people". I rest my case -- following my own advice, all answers must fit in and must be short. hope it helps.ps. there will be no "second". trust me.

As long as the only choice is between Republican and Democrat the US will continue it's downhill spiral. THe two parties are actually one ARISTOCRACY which has been bleeding the taxpayer for over a century. They live in the same towns, Thier children go to the same schools, They cross breed. They go to the same cocktail Parties and belong to the same Country Clubs.
Unless the American People get together and throw out both major parties Democracy is dead.

The U.S has a moronic leader named George W. Bush. Alot of people hate him. Sir, I ask that you forget what this idiot has done if anything he has made America look bad. Judge us not by the actions of a fool, but the actions of the many. Look at Fdr, a man who fought ww2 and saved many nations from the Nazis and look at Lyndon Johnson the man that fought at the japanese and was unfortuntately forced to make the decision to drop the bomb. My uncle saw the bomb at hiroshima from a battle ship he was on, he had survived the war that long, only to die of Leukima a few years later. Look at Jfk who talked down the russians, look to our past sir, we are not a bad people. Unfortunately we have had people who are complete morons who make the rest of the world hate us when some of us are just wanting peace and prosperity. I do support our troops. I do support a war in Iran. I do support defending our nation. However i do not support the war in Iraq and i do think it will forever be a problem for us, and something i hope haunts bush to his dying day for he can never wash the blood from his hands.
There are far worse things in the world.
Look at darfur. You mock america but there is genocide in Darfur that has nothing to do with America. There are tiny little tyrant in North Korea that threatens and kills his own people, and many mock america. The very nations that mock us and wish ill upon us are usually murderers, but i know should this nation ever come under attack ever come under seige, me and many of my friends would gladly pick up our hunting rifles to defend our nation, America will never fall.
So sir i hope you have heard me out, and i hope you think better of America we are all after all Human.

The USA will never go down, unless we close our eyes to the terrorist muslim nations around the globe. Only by ignoring the threats will we put our nation at risk. So, if you know how to get these nuts to stop attacking us and plotting to kill us, please let someone know. If nothing else, find bin laden and ask him why he started this stuff in the first place.
