It is analogue cable service, and the screen says "TEMPORARY INTERRUPTION", with the following code:

I can't change channels, but I get sound? What does it all mean?

it means you should go digital.

No I caan't but have you tried turning everything off-wait 1 minute -turn on tv and go into the menu ---setup and select the antenna as cable and then do a channel search and all that---it may clear the error and rest everything.

if that does not work try getting online help from your cable provider

also may want to try tv with rabit ears/normal antenna-broadcast mode to make sure there is nothing wrong with the tuner

Call your cable company. Sounds like a corrupted feed.

turn all off if you got one of them cards in box take out as well then put back should be ok then

try pulling the plug out but out it straight back in
