Why are some of the most gifted people theones with the most deep rooted?

Some possibilities:

-lots of pressure from everyone (including themselves) to succeed

-might be able to understand more fully the problems facing society

-might not be able to figure out what to do career-wise since they may be good at a lot of things

What is the casue and what is the effect. I believe it is the emotional pain which leads to gifted thinking. The ones with the most pain are the ones who are not afraid to go outside of the normal box of thinking. They are the true risk takers. They have their great pain becasue they have greater awareness of things which in turn leads to their most original thinking, which is why they are the most gifted. Newton, edison, einstein, freud were probably full of emotional pain adn they are some of the most gifted people of all time.
