puffycloud 7- it's tacky for you to bash someone else's religion. places like forever 21 and in-n-out aren't a franchise. they're independantly owned and operated. this means that the owners can put whatever they want on their merchandise. since they're christian, they advertise positively. john 3:16 is a pretty kickin' verse in the book. i think it's cool.

John 3:16 is a verse from the bible: "For God so Loved the World that he gave his one and only son, so that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life." IN N OUT has that verse on the bottom of the cups too. Its a way to witness to people without being too forward about it, and that way, people will read it, and think about it, as opposed to telling someone, and having them be rude, or ignore you. The owner of Forever 21 is a Christian. I think it's a very smart and Cool idea :)

Do you get it "Forever" 21 and "eternal" life they both mean the same thing. that why i think its on there. Or maybe its a way to make people read the bible, who knows.

I just noticed that as well. Many things all of a sudden have gotten something similar like that on them. In-N-Out Burger also has something written on their cups & bottom of the fries thing. I think its something from the Bible.

Forever 21 is a "cheap chic" retail chain selling junior and women's clothes. Apparently, Christian evangelism comes free with purchase. The fine print on their bags reads "John 3:16," referring to a Bible verse. Of course, Forever 21 isn't the first to employ this tacky tactic. In-N-Out Burger has been doing it for years.
