Avery Johnson was a gritty team player, but not dominant by any measure. BJ and Damon are mainly 3 point shooters stuck in point guard frames. Eric Snow is a solid defender and a gamer, but not much to speak of offensively. I'm not sure who Jaraan Cornell is...

Mark Jackson is one of the all time assist leaders, and could post up most point guards. He was a solid floor general, but just an average defender.

Ron Harper was an impressive shooting guard with the Clippers and Cavs before getting slowed down by injuries. He was still impressive enough that Jordan recruited him to start in the backcourt for the second 3-peat with the Bulls in 96,97,98. By that time, he had lost most of his explosiveness, but he was still a solid defender and opportunistic scorer.

If I had to pick one for a team it would be Ron Harper, because I like players that are effective on both ends of the court. Mark Jackson was a good offensive PG, but I wouldn't want him on defense.

My pick is Ron Harper.

Ron Harper when he was at Cleveland. By far the better player. For overall career though, it has to be Mark Jackson. He is the all time assists leader.

I would say Damon Jones. he's extremely underrated. He should be the Cavs starting point guard. He's one of the best shooters and #4 on the best clutch shooter list behind Kobe Bryant, Mike Bibby, Troy Hudson(who's also underrated), and Leandro Barbosa
