its harmful for anyone to inhale a direct chlorine vapor as it sa chemical, you can not inhale it from the pool however only if you were dealing with it from the bucket and in the skimmer baskets, most pools have a chlorinator tube where the chlorine is stored connected to the pump, you do not have direct contact with chlorine vapors from the pool water, there might however be a strong chlorine smell but thats not harmful

If you open up a pack of chlorine in a small environment and stay in that room for a while you're probably not gonna be feeling too good but as for being around a pool it's really no problem. The chlorine is very minute compared to the amounts of water that're used in pools. Only if you come in contact directly with chlorine will it cause skin irritation or rashes. If you breathe in a lot of chlorine fumes (as said before, being in a small, poorly ventilated room) you'll become nauseous, sick to your stomach and your sight will become blurry.

no its not harmful, there is not a lot of chlorine in a pool plus most pool halls are large which means that there is a large area for any fumes to spread around plus there is a air holding unit on most pools which controls mainly heat coming away from the pool but at most pools it also purifies the air i used to spend about 6 hours a day on the poolside for 6 days a week and i never had any problems

i take advantage of to do aggressive swimming. Now i'm a lifeguard/swim instructor. For some reason the scent of chlorine does not the two me anymore. yet once I swim, i will leap in the bathe, i discovered utilising 2 distinctive manufacturers of cleansing soap will help do away with the scent. i take advantage of a bar of cleansing soap and then i take advantage of a scented physique wash. this way if i don't get the completed chlorine scent, i'm able to scent like mangos. For my hair, i will shampoo two times. the 2d time i extremely scrub my scalp. Then i will use a competent conditioner, each and every so often reckoning on how my hair is, i will go away the conditioner in and rinse it out a pair hours later.

Well it obviously isn't the best for you, but it isn't EXTREMELY harmful. I spend 5 hours a day in the pool before and after school and I'll admit there were some days where the vapor was overwhelming and everyone was gagging and gasping for air, but other than that it doesn't have any immediate detrimental effects if it is being mixed correctly.

Chlorine is poisonous only in its gas form (you have to breathe it in) and it must be concentrated. It is also a poison that does not accumulate with exposure. If you breathed in a little gas, it would not make you more or less likely to be injured on further exposure to chlorine.

As for what it does to the color of your hair....you can decide whether that counts as a health problem :)

yes it does. My swimming teacher wasn't allowed to coach this year because of it. she was pregnent and there was a problem with her blood or something. the doctore told her that she has to stay away from the indoor pools or her baby could face the consequences. that's why you should always have a door propped open.

Chlorine is in tap water. You shower in it and probably have drank some.

There is no conclusive evidence that chlorine causes any health problems.

im sure around a pool it would be alrite because it is diluted in the water but if u were mixing it every day, like a maitenance person might, it would by harmful without protection.
