When my son was 6mo we started him on solids and I tried Gerber organic cereals and Earth's Best Organic cereals. He seems to like the Earth's Best better than Gerber. Not only is it organic, but it has whole grains unlike Gerber. I was surprised to find it cheapest at Babies R Us(about $1.89) and they sometimes have sales. If you go to Earth's Best website they can tell you what stores near you carry their products. He loves all their jarred foods too. I've tasted both the cereals and jar food and they taste good to me. I also like the piece of mind that his tiny little body isn't getting any pesticides. On the back of their cereal boxes, there is always a coupon for 1.00 off 10 jars of food. Be careful with rice, it can constipate babies. The oatmeal if fine though. (Earth's Best also carries a mixed grain too)

I have not tried Gerber, but I have tried giving Earth’s Best Organic Rice Cereal which can be bought at Whole Foods or your local grocery store. Our pediatrician advised that too. My baby has a really sensitive stomach and she did not have a bad reaction to the cereal. You can try buying both brands and see which one your little one prefers best.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.
According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

Gerber is probably the most popular, but they are all pretty comparable. You can check the box for vitamins and nutrients.
