In the USA it is May, but I see nothing wrong with wishing all mothers a wonderful day in both March and May!
Your intentions are quite honourable!!!

In the USA it is in May. When we imported the idea from the USA we superimposed it on Mothering Sunday which is an old religious event when people would attend their "mother" church, in effect a family reunion.

interior the u . s . and Canada it rather is mothers day on the instant, might 14, yet its continually the 2d sunday in might. I even have understand concept why they're distinctive. in line with possibility somebody there suggested "we ought to continually have a mothers day on the instant" and then the US concept it became a sturdy concept so 2 or 3 months later that they had one themselves... Bye! S.
