Hi there my friend, I am Scottish now living near London.
The damage to paint or bodywork.m.arks should come off with either T-cut or Mer polish, if u get T-cut dont forget to get the one for metallic paint. U can also pop up to a car body shop and take an empty bottle with you, they will give you a spirit wipe which should do the trick, hopefully its only rubber marks. The bodyshop may ive u the spirit wipe for free.

Good luck

Try a Mr. Clean Magic Sponge. It's a household invention, but I used it to remove black boot rubber from a white painted wall and it did it no problem and with zero damage to the paint.
It cleans gentle and it cleans TUFF! And NO, I am not kidding.
Pick 'em up at Wal-Mart for about $3.50 a pair.

u can try carb sprayed on a towel. if the paint finish is older then a few months, u can spray directly on the painted surface. it wont harm the paint but will leave a dull finish as it will remove all waxes. reapllie the wax after youve removed the tire rubber.
