better... these day it seems you can't go anywhere without hearing some annoying ring tone, or rather some obnoxious person having a gaudy conversation with someone on their phone.
i i will say that it's a handy tool when you're in trouble. it's nice knowing that roadside assistance is just a phone call away.

Was better in some ways as it was one less thing to be pre-occupied with. however, I feel much more at ease knowing that when my children are out, I am only a phone call away if they have their mobiles with them :)

Far better, mobile phones are tracking devices. Answer your mobile and how many times does the caller ask 'Where are you?'
