Hamster Question!!!!!?

My hammie makes a weird noise... it sounds like a zipper? Is he sick or something? Plz answer.

I'm not sure what you mean by zipper? Anyhow it could be wheezing but also some hamsters breathing can be heard, I would have to know if you heard it once or if this has gone on since you bought it. If it was a one time sound it was probably nothing. If it is in his breathing and always has been it could very well be natural. If it started after you got him and continued he may be sick or the bedding you use could be causing him a respiratory infection. Pine and Cedar are very bad for hamsters and Aspen is the best kind.
