How do you change the serpenten belt for Ford Taurus 2006???

With a 15mm wrench, release belt tension, by moving belt tensioner slightly clockwise with one hand, and slide belt out from under the idler pulley (the one smooth pulley) with the other hand. Finesse the belt out. Reroute new belt in the same manner as the old belt, and reverse the order of removal.

Save your self a lot of skinned knuckles and go to NAPA, Car Quest or Advance and buy an inexpensive straight lever bar with a very shallow hex socket on one end. It specially made for this specific job. It'll fit between the uni-body and the spring loaded idler pulley and slide on the center bolt that swings the tension off the belt.

Don't let somebody how cool you can do it with a bunch of wrenches, you're open for getting whacked in the kisser.
