I want to get another gecko so my leo wont get lonely. But i have heard that 2 male leos will fight if they are put in the same cage. So I thinking about if it would be alright if I got a different type of gecko that was a male. Would they fight or would they be alright together?

They will fight. He doesn't need a friend, he will just fight or one will always be stressed and will not eat properly and will die.

you should quarantine your new gecko for more advantageous or less ninety days to substantiate she isn't ill with something, and also you are able to video demonstrate her feeding and get to entice close her somewhat formerly including her to the different tank. If the tank is gigantic sufficient and there is sufficient warmth and hides for all 3 in the journey that they opt to be seperate, then it will be effective. i'd shop the tank you've her in today incase she doesn't get alongside with both the male or the feminine and also you eventually end up mandatory to seperate them. yet as long as she's a similar length and also you're prepared for the upward push in the quantity of eggs then you definitely should be effective.

All I know is that you should never house two species of reptile together, as one might eat the other because of some size difference. But I'm not an expert on the subject.

I would say no. I've tried it several times and one always kills the other. Males are very territorial and will fight for space no matter what species. I doubt that your lizard needs a friend anyway.
