Certainly they should be afraid --they run the very real
risk of being totally removed! Cute question!

Poles, like Polish people? No, they shouldn't. People shouldn't be afraid of acetone either. As long as you don't huff it all day long, it shouldn't cause any physical harm. However, don't use it around open flames, it is extremely flammable.
