NO, you should not get pregnant. I have learned all about this in nurses training. Pregnance only occurs after an egg has been releases from the ovary (ovulation). When you are on your period the egg has already made its way to the uterus (fertilization occurs in the fallopian tube and travels to the uterus) and is being shed. Hope this helps!

You seriously need to talk to your doctor. You should not be using a birth control method you know so little about.

The nuva ring should be giving you protection at all times IF you are using it correctly. (although no birth control is 100%).

Also, even without birth control, it is VERY VERY unlikely for a woman to get pregnant during her period. It's the safest time.

Please talk to your doctor to learn more about the Nuvaring and more about your bodies reproductive cycle.

w/ every birth control there's still a chance. The nuva ring releases hormones, and sometimes sperm just find it's way through anyway, nature stuggles to take place beyond birth control.
