My Parents say that I can't wear makeup so what do I do???

with my parents i couldnt wear makeup for the longest time. and then in the 7th grade i asked my mom when i was finally going to get to wear makeup, and she didnt anwser me. So i asked her if i could wear light makeup like mascara. Then when a school event or something comes up ask if you can wear something more like an eye liner, they will more than likely say yes if you say you are going for a more sophisticated look, then just ask to add on little things, but the last thing you want to add is the eyeshadow because its the most noticable, or the eyeliner if you go for the black.

and if all else fails, bring makeup to school put it on in there, then at the end of the day take it off with a makeup remover.

Well I think that it is good to listen to your parents. Plus makeup isn't what it's all cracked up to be. I say a little gloss and maintence of your skin and you'll be happy that you never miss the thought of wearing makeup. You're probably too young to even be wearing it. Listen to your parents and wait until you are older. If you mess around with different types of makeup, you will damage your skin and that will be a million times worse than your current vanity. Certain makeups can cause acne, and your skin will pay for it for years!

I know how you feel. My parents would let me wear it (I was in 8th grade). I went behind her back, and at school put it on, but then it got old taking it off, and putting it on. So I just figure, whats the point?...Now I wear makeup, and somedays, I just think "Why did I even care so much in 8th grade??" Its not life changing or anything. It makes you look different. Sometimes Im even too tired in the morning to put it on, but whatever, you know? Its really not that important. When you're able to wear it, you'll figure that out. =)

Did you ever ask them why they don't want you to wear makeup? Because technically, if you have the physical ability to apply makeup, you can wear it, haha. It's your face, do what you want.

my parents use to not let me wear makeup, i always use to put it on at school and then take it off before i got home, lol. but i dont sugggest that. i just learned to accept the way i looked.

totally where it i mean my parents tell me not but when go to school i go staight to the bathroom and put makeup on then at the end of school i take everything off. but if your young i dont think u need it.

wear make-up to skool, and before u get home, wipe it off. it may be lying to your parents, but if u desperatly want to wear make-up, then i guess u will have to go to those measures. if u have fairly understanding parents (wich i didn't) u could try talking to them. it worth a try.

umm....haha. when i was 12 my mom wouldnt let me were makeup, so i kinda stole her makeup && used tht. she ended up buying my own makeup cause she was getting tired of telling me not to && u can also get infections from sharing makeup...but i never did.

my mom wouldnt let me but i did it anyways. you can use a eyelash curler, thats not technicaly makeup is it? it will make your eyes look bigger. and you can buy the neutrgena skin clearing conceler. it has benzolperoxide in it so you can say its an ance treatment, which it is. hope it helps :]
