Yep, it is hard to find them, and unfortunately in those industries you are most probably going to be right out of luck. It would be easier if you were a nurse, or something like that. Those are competitive fields to find jobs in anyway, which means that there are more than enough willing and able workers in the US already without others getting sponsored to take the jobs.

Anyway, you've only really got a couple of options. Number one would be to undertake an internship. Contact Bunac for more information on this (just google them). There are all kinds of rules relating to this program - basically, you can go for a period of between 3 and 15 months, you need to work up a plan for your training with your employer before you get there and show this to the embassy before they will even grant your visa, etc etc etc. Officially, you have to prove that the training would not be available to you in your own country so you need to go to the US, but there are ways around this, and Bunac will be able to advise. Be warned though, that this won't come cheap - you'll pay a fee to Bunac as well as paying for visa costs etc, and you'll probably end up having to dip into your savings to support yourself whilst in the US, as many internships are poorly paid (college students and graduates in the US would be more than happy to undertake them for free).

Another way of doing it is to simply go for a short time and do something that is completely unrelated to your fields of interest, such as working as a camp counselor or an au pair. These jobs usually provide you with board and accommodation and then pay you a small amount of pocket money on top of this. Again, contact Bunac for camp counselor positions. Not really sure about au pair jobs.
